Options Robot is an online resource for investment software.
Data Controller
For residents from the European Economic Area (EEA), Options Robot is the data controller responsible for your personal data.
Collected Information
A. Information You Provide to Us
When you use the Services, we may ask you to provide certain personal information. For example, we collect information from you when you register with Options Robot to create an account, purchase products or services, request customer support, fill out a form to have us contact you, or otherwise communicate with us.
When ordering or registering on our site, you may be asked to enter your name, phone number, email address, mailing address and/or other personal information. You do not have to provide this information to browse the site without making a purchase or creating an account.
Information You Provide When You Make a Purchase.
STRIPE: Using Link or Connecting your Bank Account. Stripe offers you the opportunity to store your payment methods with Stripe so that you can conveniently use it across merchants who are our Business Users (“Link” was formerly known as “Remember Me”). When you opt in to Link, you agree to let STRIPE store your Personal Data such as your payment method so that you can more readily make purchases through Link with Business Users of our payment processing Business Services (e.g. name, contact information, payment method details (e.g. card number, cvc, and expiration date)). When you choose to pay with Link, we will also collect Transaction Data related to your transactions.
If you choose to share bank account information (including for use in Link) with Stripe, then Stripe will periodically collect and process your account information (e.g. bank account owner information, account balances, account number and details, account transactions and, in some cases, credentials). With your separate permission, Stripe will share this Personal Data with Business Users that you choose. You can ask Stripe to stop collecting and sharing this information.
With your separate permission, Stripe will share contact information (e.g. shipping address, billing address and phone number) with Business Users that you do business with.
Paying Stripe. If you are buying goods or services directly from Stripe, we receive Transaction Data. For example, when you make a payment to Stripe Climate, we will collect contact information, payment method information, and information about that transaction.
Identity/Verification Services. We provide an identity verification service that automates comparing an identity document with your image (e.g., selfie). You may choose to opt-in to allow us to store that verification for future use across other merchants and/or separately consent to letting us use your biometric data to improve our verification technology. Information You Provide When You Participate in an Online Survey or Other Research. We may also collect information you provide to us in connection with participating in an online survey or as a research panel participant. This may include, but may not be limited to, information about your shopping habits, lifestyle preferences, interests and hobbies, health, physical or behavioral characteristics, or other demographic information, as well as photos, videos, and other user-generated content.
Information You Provide About a Third Party. You may decide to provide us with another person’s information (such as name, email, address, or phone number) so that we may recommend or send products or services to such person, or so that we may facilitate your communication with other people. Local law may require you to seek the consent of your contacts to provide their personal information to Options Robot (or in connection with using the Services), to allow us to use that information in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy. Where required by law, we will obtain the required consent from the person whose information you provided to us.
Third-party Tracking: Hotjar
Hotjar is behavior analytics software. It is used by website owners to gain a better understanding of how users interact with their website and to identify issues that their users are running into when browsing their website. Hotjar provides website owners with tools such as Heatmaps, Recordings, and Surveys that help them to gain insight into their users’ experience on their website. This insight is used by website owners to make changes that improve the overall experience for their users. Hotjar is used on over 500,000 websites in 180+ countries. Information You Provide Through Social Media. You may also be given the option to link to your Facebook or other social media accounts through the Services. When you do, we may automatically receive certain information from you based upon your privacy settings on those sites. This may include, but may not be limited to, name, user name, demographic information, updated address or contact information, location, interests, and publicly-observed data, such as from social media and online activity.
Information You Provide Trading Activity. Any activity that are created by you in our software creates an event. These events allow us to monitor your existing positions and provide current and historical performance metrics. These include paper money or live trading accounts which can also include your configurations, watchlists, chart templates and details of trades.
B. Information Collected Automatically
Whenever you visit or interact with the Services, we may use a variety of technologies that automatically or passively collect information about your online activity. This information may be collected in the following ways:
Usage Information: We may use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, mobile analytics software, log files, or other technologies to collect certain information about your online activity, and interactions with our emails, online and mobile advertisements, and to allow us to keep track of analytics and certain statistical information which enables us to improve the Services.
For example, we may automatically or passively collect certain information from you, including your browser type, mobile device manufacturer, mobile carrier, phone number, operating system, activations, content, products or services you purchase or access, the page served and the preceding page views or websites visited, any mobile device activity and configurations, and email client. We may automatically collect your IP address or other unique identifier (“Device Identifier”) for the computer, mobile device, tablet or other device (collectively, “Device”) you use to access the Services, including the hardware model and mobile network information. We may use a Device Identifier to, among other things, provide the Services, help diagnose problems with our servers, analyze trends, track users’ web page, email and mobile application movements/activities, and help identify or gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.
Geolocation Information: We may collect information about the location of your Device when you access or use the Services. In addition, if you choose to turn on your Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or other geolocation functionality when you use our mobile applications, we may collect and use your geolocation information.

Options Robot may use the information we collect from and about you for a variety of business purposes; in general to provide the services, improve customer experience and engagement and develop the Services. Data Retention
We will keep your personal data for as long as we need it for the purpose it is being processed for. For example, we will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services; and after that, we will keep the personal information for a period which enables us to handle or respond to any complaints, queries or concerns relating to your account.
We retain the identifiable data we collect directly for targeting purposes (e.g., email marketing) for as little time as possible, after which we employ measures to permanently delete it or, in some cases, anonymize or de-identify the data. We will periodically review the personal information we hold and delete it securely, or in some cases anonymize it, when there is no longer a legal, business, or consumer need for it to be retained.
Your Data Rights
Account Information. When you access your account on the Services, you have the option to change certain information about yourself, such as your billing or shipping address, and telephone number.
Email. If you consented to receive direct marketing from Options Robot, we provide you with the opportunity to opt out of our marketing communications or change your preferences by following a link in the footer of all non-transactional email messages from us or by emailing us at support@OptionsRobot.com. Some communications from us are considered transactional or service communications (for example, account notifications and billing information). To ensure you have accurate information about your account and purchases, you do not have the option to unsubscribe from these messages.
Cookie Options. You can refuse cookies by turning them off in your browser. If you’ve set your browser to warn you before accepting cookies, you will receive the warning message with each cookie. You do not need to have cookies turned on to use this site. However, if you turn off all cookies, you may not be able to access all of the features of the Services.
Our system may not respond to Do Not Track requests or headers from some or all browsers.
GDPR Rights. We respect your privacy rights and provide you with reasonable access and rights to the Personal Data that you may have provided through your use of the Services. If you live in the European Economic Area (EEA), and wish to access, amend, delete, or transfer any Personal Data we hold about you, you may contact us as set forth in the “Contact Us” section.
You may update, correct, or delete your Account information and preferences at any time by accessing your Account settings page on the Services. Please note that while any changes you make will be reflected in active user databases instantly or within a reasonable period of time, we may retain all information you submit for backups, archiving, prevention of fraud and abuse, analytics, satisfaction of legal obligations, or where we otherwise reasonably believe that we have a legitimate reason to do so.
You may decline to share certain personal data with us, in which case we may not be able to provide to you some of the features and functionality of the Service.
